I REGRET TO INFORM YOU ALL THAT KATHY LUTZ HAS JUST PASSED AWAY TODAY, AUGUST 17, 2004.

It really saddened me to here this.  Most people are famliar with the fact that Kathy was a part of the Amityville Horror haunting case.  Most people aren't familiar with the fact that Kathy spent the last years of her life working to feed the homeless.  Even though she was extrememly ill, Kathy gave as much of herself as she could to help others.  I sent a note off to George expressing my sadness, and Ozz and I put up a notice of Kathy's passing on the main page of the Amityville Horror Truth website.  We also closed down the message boards for five days, out of respect for the family.

As soon as I recieve any information about where people can sends condolences, or perhaps contributions to Kathy's favorite charities, I will post it here.  Today is a sad day... the world lost a silver-shiny jewel in an otherwise dull and boring world.
